Silicone Care Instructions

 

General Care:

• Cleaning:
  Use dishwashing detergents that are essential oil, antibacterial agent & moisturiser free, to avoid a 'soapy' smell & taste on your silicone products.
  Wash your silicone products with warm, soapy water before first use and after each use. Silicone is dishwasher safe, so you can place it on the top rack of your dishwasher for easy cleaning.

• Drying: Allow the silicone items to air dry completely before storing them to prevent moisture buildup and potential mold growth.

• Stain Removal: If your silicone products become stained, you can soak them in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water, or use a baking soda paste to scrub away stains.
   

Avoiding Damage:

• Sharp Objects: Avoid using sharp objects or abrasive cleaners on silicone products as they can cause damage.

• Extreme Temperatures: Silicone can withstand a wide range of temperatures, from -40°C to 230°C. However, avoid exposing silicone to direct flames or broilers, as this can cause damage.

• Storage: Store silicone products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain their quality and longevity.
   

Additional Tips:

• Oven Use: When using silicone bakeware in the oven, place it on a baking sheet for stability and ease of handling.

• Microwave Use: Silicone is microwave safe. Ensure that your silicone product does not touch the sides of the microwave to prevent overheating.

• Freezer Use: Silicone is safe for the freezer. Allow hot items to cool down before placing them in the freezer to avoid sudden temperature changes that can compromise the product's integrity.
